Morgan Stout behind his new HV built by Coleman Rifles. In only his second benchrest match Morgan won the HV200, the HV Grand and the Two Gun at Dublin, GA this fall. I tried to take all the credit but he kept slapping me back out of the limelight. His HV promises to be a hot gun as well judging from his groups today.

Feedback from some of our Customers:

Well add another one of your guns to the winners list. I shot the Commonwealth match this weekend in Tulsa and finished 2nd in "F" class with it.Jevon Jamieson

This match was 15rds for record at 300/500/600yds with 2 sighters at each distance, all from the prone with bipod. The max score obtainable is 450-45x, the winner shot 448-18x I shot 442-16x.  The winner also has shot this for a couple years, this was my first rifle match. I could not have done this well without the proper tool. My rifle was looked over many times by many people, everytime they asked "who is Coleman rifles?" every answer from me was "one of the premier BR rifle builders in this country". They all said the job you did was beautiful.

None of them could believe a 788 could shoot as well as it did.  The guy that beat me was using a tricked out 700 in 308 tight neck. FYI..my load was Win brass, Fed 210 primers, Sierra 107MK, and 44.5gr RL22.

Thanks again and God Bless,

Jevon Jamieson

The rail gun barrel you chambered for me is doing pretty darn good.  You have the targets I sent from the Rockingham match which are all under 2 tenths of an inch (.1616 aggregate) and I just returned from the Unaka match where I cleaned house in the unlimited class. This was a 5 shot unlimited match but an aggregate of  .2014 at 100 yards, an aggregate of .1512 at 200 yards and a grand aggregate of .1763 is nothing to take lightly.  All I had to do was to wait on the wind to let up a little and shoot five shots - the gun did the rest.

Mickey,

What shall I tell you? You're THE ONE!

Today we had the German Nationals. First start for the Coleman Rifle in competition - first start for me at 300 meters with the BLUE SIX (never shot the Nesika before at this distance, only once at 250 meters for fireforming 6PPC Lapua brass) - first time I shot 6PPC in competition - AND IT BEAT THEM ALL!Robert M. Koch

I got first with 100 and 16X (bullseye counts 5 and the X-diameter is 1.2"). Second place was a friend of mine and member of our team - his result was 100 and 15X with the BLUE SIX! Third place was opponent with 99...

I will tell you more the next days, it's after midnight now and I drove my van with our team and twelve rifles about 400 miles back home.

Salute to the finest gunsmith / riflemaker I know

Yours

Robert M. Koch

Mickey,

This letter is to let you know how much I enjoy shooting the rifle that you built for me.

You may not remember but it is a Remington 700 that you blueprinted, glass bedded and installed a select match grade Shilen barrel in .280.

Enclosed you will find two targets with three shot groups at 100 yards. The groups measure .284 inch and .500 inch center-to-center. I know this is not benchrest quality shooting but with an unsteady rest and factory ammo I think it is great. This is by far the best shooting hunting rifle I have ever owned.

Thanks, again, and when I need another rifle built I will be calling you.

Sincerely,

David M. Sloop

Mickey thank you for all of your help it is greatly appreciated and as I order parts that I need I get to talk with a lot of different people in the benchrest community. As they ask questions they learn I am a new benchrest and they find out that I bought a rifle from you and nothing but praise comes about. As one person put it "A good ole boy that is a straight shooter and he's one of the best benchrest gunsmiths out there" have a great day.

Sincerely,

John Crawford

Mickey,
I finally got to shoot the rifle you rebarreled for me in a match. The first two groups were .133 and .209. Needless to say, I am quite happy.

Thanks again for your time and the great work you did on my rifle.
