My love of rifles began in my early childhood.
As any shooter knows you can't explain why some people like guns and some don't. I did. I liked shooting them and took great pleasure in being able to hit my targets. It was only natural for me to begin to tinker with guns since I enjoy working with my hands so I managed to take apart any gun I could. 
I began shooting benchrest in 1989 and in just a few years the desire to build my own rifle became an obsession with
me. I enrolled in night classes at a local junior college to learn the proper way to operate the machinery necessary for the building of rifles. I began building my own rifles in
1993 and was soon beginning to have customers that wanted me to build their rifles.
As I began to consider retirement from my life's vocation it was only natural for me to get into gunsmithing full time.
Since I had no interest in shotguns and pistols, I concentrated on benchrest, varmint and hunting rifles. Benchrest is my first love and I decided that I would build hunting and varmint rifles using the same care and
techniques. It has worked out extremely well resulting in satisfied customers all across the United States and in Germany.
